RunInRed 16,438
There might be limited information (initially) ... In the shortest observation of the spring, we got 19 minutes instead of 30 to watch practice... In the group workouts and special teams drill we saw, Angelo Blackson is here, Trovon Reed did not appear to be ... On punts it was Bray, Mincy and Davis. Kicks it was Louis, Grant, Holsey and Mason. No real changes. @JamesCrapea First full scrimmage is this morning at Jordan-Hare Stadium. #Auburn showed none to media, which were kicked out earlier than scheduled.... Auburn defensive tackle Angelo Blackson is back at practice this morning, in pads after missing time with injury. Ken Carter was lined up at DE on the first unit during individual drills. Joined by him was Dee Ford, and DTs Jeff Whitaker/Gabe Wright. @AUBlog Angelo Blackson in the flesh and in uniform @JoelAEricksonAU Basically, Auburn coaches just didn't want media (or cameras) seeing any part of today's scrimmage. Their call.... During flex session (stretching), Melvin Smith coaxes, "Stay behind the line! All about being onsides!" Auburn: 15 neutral zone pens in 2012 ... Dameyune Craig and Kodi Burns can still wing it out - they were throwing 15- to 20-yard sideline routes to TEs/WRs. @wareagleextra Coach Ellis giving instruction to the linebackers before the scrimmage. @awpenny247 Gus Malzahn chats up the refs before Auburn's big scrimmage today at Jordan-Hare Stadium @bmarcello

RunInRed 16,438
By Charles Goldberg, AuburnTigers.com AUBURN — It was Auburn's first real scrimmage, but just another day of asking for a quicker pace for Gus Malzahn. "What are we waiting for?" asked the Auburn coach as players swapped green mesh that designated them as members of the punt team. "Let's go, let's go, let's go. We're wasting time." The first punt went to Chris Davis? Tackling this Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium. You bet. Then one was launched to Quan Bray, who made a nice return. Then to Robenson Therezie. The sidelines were filled with high school coaches who are on campus for Auburn's annual coaching clinic, plus lettermen who were encouraged to watch the action. The offense came on to run plays. Full action. Full tackling. https://www.facebook...pe=1&permPage=

SphyNxXx 96
Looks like the coaches are pretty high on Corey Grant. I know our depth is a bit limited, but he looks to be getting a lot more looks than the previous staff gave him.
GoBull367 0
Is that all the info we are going to get, or does more usually trickle out later in the day? I would like to know if anyone else made any big plays, especially at quarterback. Man I can't wait for A Day.

RunInRed 16,438
Here's at least one stand out play that we know about ... The Tigers' first major scrimmage of the spring went 112 plays and included at least one big play by the defense: an interception by cornerback Josh Holsey.... Holsey picked off Frazier on a lob pass meant for receiver Sammie Coates. "I got a pick on Kiehl. He owes me $20," Holsey said. "I told him he's going to give me another one before we got over with the spring." Read more: http://www.al.com/au..._pick_as_q.html
